Jan talks about : Curating a collection of inspiration photos is fun, but turning the vision board into reality is a different ball game. “Inspiration is easy; execution is where most people get stuck,” Home vision boards typically include paint chips, fabric swatches, and images of other homes you love.
Jan talks about : We tend to focus on walls and floors, but ceilings offer a blank canvas for creativity,” she said. “Imagine a dining-room ceiling painted in a deep, dramatic hue or a bedroom ceiling adorned with a subtle, textured wallpaper.
Jan talks about : “If you have a perfectly functional vanity but it’s looking a little tired, give it new life with paint,” she says. “Moody greens, rich navy, or even a fresh white can make it look brand new.”
Jan talks about : A cozy reading nook is the perfect way to invite your guests to unwind and take a breather. “Place a comfortable armchair or a plush beanbag chair in a corner. Then add a small side table, a reading lamp, and a cozy throw, bonus points for a curated selection of books or magazines. I personally love to include a few coffee table books with beautiful photography or inspiring stories.”
